A 22 minute documentary of a cat and her kittens as they start to mature, if you need something beautiful and grounding to watch. I guess cat videos have always in fashion.

As I’ve gotten older, slower paced films are becoming more appealing. It’s an observation documentary that is peaceful. He said the main characters were the cats but the people in the village were just as important. The film captures joy, care and worry. There’s tension also. The elders complained about poop a lot. It was like I was meditating. All the good and bad but still that sense of serenity. Nothing is 100% pure.

a documentary that profiles several cats in Istanbul and their various human companions. Most of the people are owners of shops that the cats pass through or sleep in. The filmmakers followed the cats through their day around Istanbul as they interact with the local community and other cats. Each of the cats and people have distinct personalities and both are very well spoken! Also it’s beautifully shot

Always a nice feeling to complete a new piece. I feel like I’m finally starting to build a collection of work that feels my own.

-Member of the wedding by Carson McCullers. Made me feel like a tween again which was unexpectedly beautiful. Her more popular book The heart is a lonely hunter is very good too! -Jess+Moss by Clay Jeter is a really beautiful movie. Gorgeous colors and cinematography and heartwarming story. -recently watched Fried Green Tomatos, also very heartwarming and beautiful. All about love and interpersonal relationships. -Second Place by Rachel Cusk also gives some great food for thought on the search for meaning.

I’ve mostly been shooting with Ilford hp5. It’s 400iso so probably not meant for landscapes but alas, it’s all I had. This is a picture from Switzerland. Kodak Gold is also my fav colour film.
