reading this and other texts really helped me form a closeness with the baby butch in me and the queerness of the world/greater community/ancestry. it’s a lonely world but noticing the ways gender-nonconformity exists in those around you- in people, in nature, in ways unrelated to appearance and presentation- can ease that loneliness a little. in social situations, don’t let ‘em break you, let people be people let you be you! remember that you could unknowingly be the representation in a space that is needed and that in your existence you are creating paths for community and with every slight reach out further, we’re out there and you’ll feel us grab your hand in some realm. if DM’s work message for pdf! sending love to ur gf <3
