i'm biased bc i am also indian and in massachusetts and relate to that aspect of most of the stories. runner up is bliss montage by ling ma… i just love everything she does. honorable mentions are when watched by leopoldine core, self-help by lorrie moore, and back talk by danielle lazarin -- read all of these years ago and i keep returning
