...i like my sneakers to have a weird/unexpected colorway! i primarily wear navy or black bottoms + socks tights, so they are a focal point in my outfit. i find it helpful for them to have a black or dark detail (can be anywhere on the shoe) so they tie in with my socks/tights + pants. i feel like if your sneakers are too contrasting with your socks / bottoms (/ ankle area mostly), it looks like your feet could fall off at any minute (other types of shoes dont have that effect as much in my experience) so if you wear primarily lighter colors ... i'd say the sneaks need a light colored detail for them to tie in with the rest of your fit. i bet the cecilie bahnsen asics would look good on you!

💥honestly i think sneakers go with (mostly) anything! i wear them with jeans, dresses, skirts—sneakers can really change the attitude/feeling/style of an outfit whether that be by dressing it down or making it sportier. and another tip to make sneakers a more exciting part of an outfit is to change out the laces!! i have black adidas sambas and i used to have pink laces in them, which made them sooo much cuter. and now i have black ribbon laces!! good luck on your sneaker outfits 💘🌟🌀

👟if you’re looking for sneakers i look at ssense sometimes and they put out some nice converse designs. also kind of harder to find but onitsuka tigers in their non trendy color ways ?

ahhh they are so cool! dressed up or dressed down they can complete an outfit. sweatpants and fresh air force ones or baggy denim a rick owens ramones it all feels good and i like to collect for any occasion… or none at all. it’s fun to use them as an indicator of travel or a little pick me up. i like to collect a range of them and put em to work with my closet.
