Mamoun’s falafel

Been eating Mamoun’s since I was a kid. Prices have gone up a little recently but still a great deal. $9.50 for a shawarma sandwich, make sure you ask for hot sauce. Baba ganoush platter rules too, you can eat some and then save the rest for a savory breakfast the next day

"No sex for ben" by the Rapture

I had never heard this Rapture song before seeing it on my friend Jorge's IG story the other day. That's because it was only released on the soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto IV. The track was produced by Timbaland and features a ridiculously cool combo of beatboxing and cowbell. Apparently it was a huge hit in Australia and nowhere else

Which reminds me: Friday, April 5th at DROM — We Take Manhattan's 1-year anniversary show, with Shallowhalo (EP release show), Promiseland, and Jack Powers performing live. Early-bird tix are only $13 but will go up in price when they run out
