This character from the Islamic soufi mysticism who makes some appearances in the Quran. Apparently they’re called the green because they would sit in a barren place and upon rising, grass and flowers would be set on the ground, they’re more than that of course.

most beautiful writing system eva. the letters transform and morph into each other as you put them together. i always found it really interesting 🤓 how some forms of islamic art specifically avoid images of sentient beings (because of the sin of idolatry/the idea that by drawing a living thing you're giving the image sentience (a là doodlebob)*) so theres a lot more exploration into the decorative power of the written word and geometric shapes, which is honestly pretty awesome to look at if your brain has been fried to a crisp by psychadelics like mine has. ** *i lowkey think this is true cause act of creation is a mirror of our divinity ** my brain has been fried to a crisp by psychadelics

i think everybody hates small talk, but everybody is also very different from each other, I guess it’s a matter of being understanding with the person or people you’re talking to at the moment. But I do think that personal questions and talking about real life experiences is what gets conversations going, it’s also what makes you remember people and want to reconnect with them. when talking to somebody new there’s nothing better to a first impression than someone who engages and listens. We get what we give so might as well give as much as we can.
