Apparently her collaborators put the strings on this album after Nico left the studio and when she heard it played back she hated it so much she cried. I like them too haha, but I guess she wanted a more minimal sound

really beautiful song .. gives off a little bit of a haunting feel in a nice way and goes fabulously with cold weather. the whole album is fantastic but this song and only angels have wings are standouts for me
