Not only are you supporting local music, you are maybe one of the only people who knows the song in the first place so any feelings of nostalgia and niche experience are amplified in a really crazy way
sometimes u go through something and then all of a sudden you relate to a song you didn't before or didn't as much as you do now. bonus points for when it's one of your favorite songs like i knew those addicting melodies and vocals were always hiding something meaningful with an air of serendipity to it β¨
