Saw them open for wednesday a while back, they are opening for Indigo De Souza on her current tour. Some of the tunes of this album have been seeping into my listening, really have been into this one.

i saw babehoven open for indigo de souza this summer in a church; i was about ten feet away from them on the stage. i had never heard their music before and as soon as they started playing i was instantly blown away by the thoughtfulness, tenderness, and strength to their songs. their presence on the stage was absolutely magic and i was enthralled by them. since then babehoven has become a favorite of mine, and today they released a single off their upcoming album, ”water’s here in you,” due in april. the single, “birdseye,” is a jangly, joyful tune that sets your heart aflame. everybody go listen NOW !!!!

fabulous band and fabulous album. saw them open for ethel cain earlier this year and haven't looked back ! standout from the album is by your side. their singles are all worth checkin out as well, i love lucky!!

I met Erin (@RIOTGRRRL) and Jake (@SLOWDAZZLE) last year after I started using PI.FYI—we organized a meetup before a Jonathan Richman show and immediately clicked over our shared taste in music and similar sensibilities. We started hanging out a lot and had some great times together. I’ve also gotten to know many of their friends, who are all really cool. Erin and Jake started dating a couple of months after the three of us became friends, but our group chat still pops off. Their friendship has meant a lot to me, especially since moving to NYC in 2023, and I really appreciate having them in my life.
