The first time I tried boba was at a vegas mall in 2008 when I was 11 years old. My dad called it "bubba" and our bi-monthly bonding usually involved "bubba". 15 years later, I'm cuddling with my gorgeous cat named Boba, so you can imagine the impact those little tapioca pearls had on my pre-teen brain....anyways, I've gotten all of my (once skeptical) friends hooked on HOT *jasmine* milk tea in the winter months. I highly suggest breaking free from Big Ice and ordering a steamy cup next time you're at your local milk tea shop (or at a Vegas mall).
