PI.FYI DMs (...aKA CONVOS)
introducing ... convos
adding plain ol' DMs here felt kind of uninspired and dumb, but since PI.FYI doubles as the hottest new dating app, we wanted to come up with a way to “message” people that felt intentional & true to us
so convos aren't yet another place to make plans or chat all day long, but they are the best place to share specific recommendations with a friend, lover, or group chat.
you can either send an existing rec that you love or write something special for a special someone. and like any other rec, you can bookmark them & add to lists, hit like if you like, chat below for a bit, and then move on with your life.
they're only live on the App, not the Website (yet)

this is great! out of curiosity– if you save a rec that was sent via DMs to a list, will that rec be publicly visible to others or will it be saved to that list but still remain private so only you can see it?

verygoodvalentina yeah only the people in that chat would be able to see it, which may end up being confusing moving forward. so i may restrict it to only "private" lists or something
