not an obsure one by any means but truly my favorite movie of all time. means a lot to me/my philosophy personally as someone working in the education/human services field, as a reminder to constantly take on different perspectives and see the Life in everyone/everything
within the same vein is Maid on netflix. also not obsure but deals with similar subject matter and is just a beautiful show. will never not tug on something within me

i actually don’t think i have a singular favorite queer movie but i’m recing pride since it is lesser-known (despite having a great cast!). it’s based on a true story and highlights a beautiful intersection of the labor and gay lib movements! when i went to london i visited the bookstore from the film (gay’s the word).
bound is also a favorite of mine! :) i recently watched saving face and loved that one too. the incredibly true adventures of two girls in love (which i have rec’d before) is also a favorite. bodies bodies bodies, bottoms, jennifer’s body, and but i ’m a cheerleader as well!

it's a documentary about ballroom culture in 80s nyc. i like a lot of movies, but paris is buring is one of maybe 2 or 3 movies that i can say genuinely changed my life. for movies, i would say aftersun and the florida project. but paris is burning is a must see for everybody everywhere ever
