This read on deep sea diving is fascinating. They breathe helium so they spend weeks sounding like they‘re cracking jokes at a birthday party and they are more remote down there than astronauts on the moon!

Also remembered a Nat Geo video that documented a research station on the ocean floor and it talked about the helium mix. It had audio clips of people speaking and mentioned that it fucked with everyone's sense of taste while eating.
