1 cup gin (i used drumshambo)
1 cup campari
1 cup sweet vermouth (i used antica cauze i’m fancy, but any red vermouth should be acidic enough)
1/2 cup whole milk
mix, let sit together for at least an hour (so the milk proteins curdle, then strain through cheesecloth/paper towel. keep the liquid in the fridge, pour 3 ounces over ice and mix it to dilute a bit, then express an orange peel on top!
youre always gonna make the manhattans and the margaritas but one thing i love about working at a bar is the level of experimentation i can do. figure out new cocktail recipes, mess around w bitters, create new takes on classic drinks!
A negroni but with bourbon instead of gin. just when we thought the negroni couldn’t get any sexier. An incredible first date drink and my own personal litmus test for cool-ness.
