thinking too much about the pill in your mouth to the point that it impairs your ability to swallow it
anti-rec; this sucks! along with thinking so hard about the toothbrush and toothpaste in your mouth and gagging because of it... just happened to me right now and i saw the warm green tea diminishing from the cup as each gulp passed through my lips and down my throat... that darned pill stayed in its place, barricaded by the arch of my tongue... thankfully i was able to get it down the hatch otherwise i was not ready to go back to the kitchen to retrieve more liquid.

my lamictal dissolving on my tongue the second i put it in my mouth and causing a full on panic as i futilely try to wash it down my throat

I was chewing gum once, and I must have had a mini-anxiety attack or something because all of a sudden my nervous system decided my tongue was a foreign object, and for a full five seconds went into derp mode and couldn't do anything

I was on a date the other day, and I ate a potato wedge thingy, and I guess it was too dry (?) and I had to think really hard and voluntarily try to make my throat push it down. So weird. Can’t think about swallowing, it will impair you.

chlonline its really unfortunate… but those muscles were just not meant to be activated manually it seems… ! feels like how it is to be reminded of your breathing (and i am sorry for doing so just now)
