*The Best Short Stories of Fyodor Dostoevsky* and/or *The Gambler and Other Stories*. There’s some overlap in stories included depending on the edition but worth it to be able to read all of them!

crime and punishment is my main read but I've read a few short stories/novellas here and there in the middle of it when it feels kind of stagnant. love Dostoevsky, this is the first actual novel of his I'm reading (his short stories are very good and what Im more familiar with) but Im liking it a lot! if anyone who has read more of his novels has suggestions on what to read next, I'd appreciate some recs please 🙏

I love how Gogol uses magical realism and satire to be like "yeah some people are really vain and classist in Russia rn. and some of the men here? yeah, super misogynistic with a fragile masculinity." also, special mentions, White Nights by Dostoevsky and The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde. I love all of these stories for different reasons

Didn’t plan to give the series another shot but I’d heard this season wasn’t following the previous formula…it’s giving full Twin Peaks vibes. The owls are not what they seem and I’m 100% here for it.

I’ve been doing this since the end of Dec..I was reading an interview about mental health habits and the person shared they do this at the top of each day: Make a list of these 5 things- full sentences or singular words, whatever comes to mind. 1) 5 things you’re grateful for today 2) things you need/want to do today 3) any fears or resentments 4) things to avoid feeding into today 5) things to strive for/go after today I love a list, and jotting it down in my daily planner is a nice way of not being too precious about it. 🌞
