headphones and music while going through the art museum

when i go alone, i will put on a bunch of songs that make me feel extra swag and proceed to strut through the museum to look at old paintings like i own and curated the place. makes me feel less self-conscious and adds to the experience.

LOTS OF SOLO DATES WITH HEADPHONES IN

I’ll take myself on solo dates to walk around parks, or cafes, or where ever and bring my journal. The whole time I am blasting entire albums front to back in my headphones and pretending very much that I am the main character for a little while. I don’t handle separation well, so I need to respond to my need to go absolutely bat shit with some measured delusion

Really good cover (tribute?) bands

I saw this insane show at mercury lounge with friends two years ago w Oasis tribute (SUPERSONIC) and REM tribute (murmur) bands and we still talk about that show all the time - they really sounded like the real deal!!
