some surprisingly in-depth sci fi worldbuilding for me at the time i read it, and personal dramas that i probably hadn't experienced but that felt relatable nonetheless.
i can vaguely remember the very over-the-top TV adaptation that nickelodeon made, you have to wonder how many kids were put onto body swapping fiction by this stuff...
