unfortunately i don’t think it can be glazed!!! unless you somehow put stilts on each link, preventing them from touching each other at all (which would be a big pain and leave little holes where the stilts are on the piece) i think your best bet is definitely underglaze to achieve a colour you’d like or even a ceramic stain for the clay (but this is v expensive for the amount you get) overall i guess that means no shine :( good luck!
Yea glaze would make everything stick, underglaze is good but color would be dull, my rec is see if there’s any places that do wood or soda or salt firings in your area. They’ll give you nice interesting colors and sheens with no glaze :)
instead of doing it under the influence we should start saying it casually on the daily on a random weekday afternoon… this is the way please believe me!
possibly one of the cooler and chic- er things i own… i love the look of it sooo much, it makes the cds in my collection a piece of art in itself, proudly displayed when it’s not spinning !
