what do you want your days to look like? how much structure do you need? the 8+ hour workday is a grind. office culture is a grind. organizational hierarchy is a grind. parenting in hostile family leave environments is a grind. decide what you want your time to look like and work backward to see what allows that.

talking to someone on the outside will help get you out of the little universe in your home. once better reacquainted with the outside world it'll be easier to prioritize work that exists beyond just the betterment of your immediate surroundings.

- boundaries are important, do not respond to every message you receive that day - even if you’re in that sweet spot flow state creative zone on a project, take a break and do something healthy or dumb - the key is knowing when to quit for the day and chill with your cat
