Not a beef substitute, a standalone burger like a beet burger or black bean burger. Started getting them whenever I go somewhere new and they haven’t missed yet
This is going to sound like an alcoholic justifying their habits, BUT. I eat a lot of burgers and I won't change it.
I make the patties myself from black beans, I use good bread and lots of vegetables. It just always works and it's actually quite a good meal in my case. Give it a try
usually veggie burgers are sad and tiny. i want a big ol sandwich full of stuff. this monster of a veggie burger was awesome. i’m over the fake meat gave me VEGETABLES!!
