I’m really sorry but im recommending the band the beatles…… i know that’s heinous but it’s just what i have been up to…… i rewatched the Peter Jackson doc ā€œGet Backā€ last December and I have only listened to the Beatles for the last year. Not kidding. I have not played a single other artist. It feels like committing a hate crime un petit peu.. But i love those damn boys……

I just going to cut to the chase, I can’t stand the Beatles hate. I understand everyone has their opinions and is entitled to like what they like, but in our year 2025 people still like to debate the validity of the fours musical and cultural importance by saying ā€œthey’re overratedā€. Excuse me!? I dare you to name an artist or group of the last 50 years and tell me that person was not somewhat influenced by the Beatles in some capacity… quickly! They are your favorite artists’s favorite artists. From Michael Jackson to Nirvana, even BeyoncĆ© included a cover of ā€˜Blackbird’ on her latest Cowboy Carter release. Every artist, every genre, every decade, it all leads back to the Beatles.Ā  It’s one thing if you don’t like the Beatles, maybe they aren’t your thing sure I’ll give you that. But to say they’re ā€œbasicā€ or don’t deserve hype is just plain wrong. At the very least I feel as though everyone should respect the Beatles and their contributions to music and pop culture, because without them, the larger cultural zeitgeist in which we know it to be today would not exist -this isn’t even an exaggeration. For one, Beatlemania was one of the first cultural examples of ā€œstan cultureā€ no doubt and shaped the way audiences today engage in fandoms. The band are also regarded for their innovative song writing structure and studio recording techniques. Imploring string quartets, tape loops, and experimenting with guitar distortions added new sounds to pop music and challenged the clean, tight, bubble gum sounds found in pop radio at the time— sounds they helped to popularize. In an age where every part of a song can be made and manipulated using a computer program, the boys were in the studio COOKING using objects, instruments, and just about anything else they can get their hands on to create marvel sonic arrangements never heard before. Constantly pushing barriers and evolving in style and sound, the Fab Four gave the world new music to behold with every release. Pop, rock, metal, psychedelic, folk, alternative, and more can all be found inside the works of the Beatles. Few acts have stood the test of time, and even fewer boast an abundantly rich catalogue of prolific source material that’s been studied so intensely and adored by generations upon generations of music fans. Their work is still continually shaping the soundscape of modern music and leaving an undeniable mark on the cultural fabric music and the world.Ā  I can go on and on and on but I will just say this, the Beatles are very important to pop music and culture as a whole. And if you stuck around to read all this I can only assume that you agree with me. And if you’re still unsure about the Beatles, I compiled a playlist on Apple Music of 20 of my personal favorite songs. Give it a listen and please share your thoughts on the four lads from Liverpool (good or bad) I would love to hear what others think. But thank you for letting me get this off my chest. This is usually a nightly occurrence for me, and I highly recommend this for your general well-being, and happiness. Start Get back, watch the whole thing, and by the time your favorite boys are done playing on the roof, start it all over again. It's so long, you’ve already forgotten how it starts and everything is new again.

I get very emotional recommending this because i don’t want to bring in fair weather fans and also as more people come i get on the jumbotron less, but you simply must start going to WNBA games. When the NY Liberty moved to Barclays in 2021, I started attending every single home game. It is the only place in the world i ever feel the full spectrum of emotions. These players are GOOD and many of them are DATING EACH OTHER which happens in no other sport at all basically!!!! Two years ago, 4 of the 5 starting players on Chicago’s team were literally married to each other (two couples, not poly though i wouldnt rule that out as something that could happen in the future). The tickets are so cheap because people do not value the league enough and then also the league itself thinks that people who attend the games have to be entertained the whole entire time or else no one will come, so they have programming for every second of the game, including a dance team of people aged 50+. It’s amazing and i cannot wait for next season.

This is self-explanatory i think. I need to be on my computer or phone the second it gets dark out so that i dont think about how im going to die one day, so i usually do online shopping. But of course i cannot buy the things i want due to i’d lose everything in terms of my money, and also i am obsessed with designer clothing so i really cannot be behaving in that way. But i suspend my belief and open 100+ tabs of clothing/shoes/accessories that i like from TheRealReal, cos, ebay, to name a few and then just as i’m finally starting to get sleepy, i ā€œapple Qā€ thousands of dollars away without ever adding anything to a cart so that i can start over the next day. It is like ā€œ50 first datesā€ but with retail therapy. Does this make sense?

My wallet is the size of my forearm and i have never lost it in the 10 years ive had it. Yes it means im carrying a backpack most of the time because it doesn’t really fit in a normal purse so to speak, but ive never had to replace a credit card or an ID and that is worth looking like a child on the subway for.
