talking to your friends about film/video/art/comic/writing ideas is always SO fun and SO fulfilling. even better if you have concept art and presentations and even a pinterest board.....perhaps
Gather around with your friends, show-off your notebooks, your planners, run through what you made and love, talk about what didn't work and what does, swap tools and ideas for the future.
i think colored pencils are underutilized in the world of cool and interesting art bc most people who draw with colored pencils just use them to render their photorealistic drawings of jack sparrow and iron man...but they are so wonderful when doing multimedia stuff! also ive been forcing myself to sketch with colored pencils because you cant really erase them so i have to be more purposeful with my lines. i have a tin of staedtler watercolor colored pencils that i use for 90% of what i draw in my sketchbook
i think its important to have one or two really embarrassing interests because it really nukes your ability to be a hater towards other people. bc then you think. well i cant judge, im obsessed with x thing and thats way worse. i love being a hater but sometimes you have to be a lover
