Last summer while traveling I got a pocket radio so that instead of listening to my same Spotify playlists I could tap in to the pulse of wherever I was visiting. It was such an amazing experience of feeling connected to place and feeling very aware of the people around me. like I am part of this! We are all part of this!!
I could rant forever about why Iβm passionate about local radioβ¦but we all know music is an incredible mechanism to connect/communicate with people- and where hits stations loose identity, algorithm driven streaming becomes such an island. Local radio fills an important niche of here. now. us. we. are experiencing this together
