If you listen to national public radio and you don’t have this app you should get this app . Makes listening to live radio so hella convenient on your celly, and also you get free access to soooo many fantastic podcasts. Local music programs are also fab. I love Kansas City jazz yayyy

i literally love this app, i miss the communal aspect of the radio like the universal omg hit song like oh u all heard that ??? idk there’s a discord and everything and it feels like im tuning into the cultural zeitgeist in a way im not with my own streaming. i also love discovering music from people and not algorithms <3 which is why i love this app too
the FIP station lets you listen live to loads of different genres, with no ads and minimal radio host chat (and when it happens, it’s all in French so it sounds cool anyway). Best way to get out of the music algo and find some new shit!
