I personally don’t find it offensive. I often have to state my age because I look young for my age and some people that I may be interacting with professionally assume that they can disregard what I am saying because I appear to be young.

Too much age anxiety caused by ageism in popular media. Every show, song, movie, model looks under 25. This wasn't the case as late as the 2000s.

i am 30 and today a 25/26 yr old was like “omg what you look so good” and I just have to say your face doesn't dry up and fall off at 30 and did she think she was just going to rapidly degenerate in the next 4/5 years?

Anti rec: saying 30’s and 40’s are “old”
Went to a concert last weekend and the bands kept bringing up how “old” we were in our 30’s and 40’s, like the next stop is the nursing home or something.
Also, when hangin’ out with the “whipper snappers” in their 20’s, we don’t need to comment on how “old” we are in comparison.
Like fuuuuck y’all let’s save that “old“ talk for our 70’s and 80’s!!

If you’re within an hour walk from home, you should just walk home. I understand taking public transit or an Uber there to be on time, but you’re not rushing to get home. Thus, walk.
