rly simple stripped back idea/theme but i like the way it's executed so far! slightly unnerving novella about a woman who lives in an idyllic neighborhood, don't wanna say too much more but i'm halfway thru and i hope it sticks the landing

itβs a beautiful beautiful book and a quick read which is a major pro for my attention span. Its poignant, well articulated and the characters are intriguing and not overly dramatized.
read it over a few days in the summer- and its set during those hot months! ikinda like middle-aged women musings but i found the story kinda cinematic and quite compelling bc its about this rude annoying artist satying in the narrators marsh land. and the narrator is fun ny.
