Ex-civil engineer Part-time public health researcher Part-time student Future doctor It’s been really awesome transitioning between career worlds and studying and learning alot. It’s also been awesome leaving behind the traditional corporate office and getting to split my time between my formal work/school obligations and local ~things~ I’m passionate about.

I was nervous because I have two young children who are also homeschooled and I wasn’t sure if I could juggle mom life + homeschool life + remote learning for the year and a half it would take me to complete the degree, but I’m doing it!! The program has changed my life in ways I never even imagined. Set to graduate in May 🥲🎓

bc it’s what I originally wanted when I first went to college at 17 but I was scared to make writing my job and got a B.S. in Nutrition instead lol Now the goal is an eventual PhD in Victorian Literature but I’m just happy to have made it through this part at 32! Stacked is everything I read in my English courses—barely pictured are the 5 stuffed accordion folders of other reading materials under my chair haha
