super fucking intense for a movie about jazz musicians. I was beside myself with J. K. Simmons acting. & the physical and mental toll on miles tellers character was portrayed so well. was suspicious about the “thriller” category but I completely understand it now. 10/10
the best lit nightmare. gorgeously shot, perfect score, best opening sequence i’ve seen in ages! really, really fun, and also really, really unsettling and hard to watch at times. memorable and insane.
