i’ve started to use libby to listen to audiobooks for free and it’s so so good!! i signed up with my city library card & also the queer liberation library — sooo many good titles (ebooks & audio!) including audre lorde, anne carson, alison kafer, maggie nelson, jenny hval, etc

i think people don’t utilize their local libraries enough when they’re such wonderful resources!
one of my favorite things to stem from the library and library cards is the app “libby”! it’s an amazing way to get free books, audiobooks, and magazines digitally.
completely free if you have a library card (which are also totally free!)
go support your local library!

The Garden of earthly delights - hieronymus bosch

made in the late 1400s, giant triptych of ~7 ft x 12.5 ft saw it at the museo del prado in madrid and was absolutely awed by its fantastical and chaotic nature, changed my life, i got one of the little guys tatted on my thigh

genuinely good pop music

im so sad that for so long i fell down the (often misogynistic) trap of believing all pop music was trash because it’s “basic”… SO FALSE my eyes have been opened to some of the most fun music you can listen to
some current faves: chappell roan, christine and the queens, kilo kish, remi wolf, hemlocks springs, caroline rose (current absolute fave artist)
