I work in admin at the zoo and have learned an insane amount about the conservation work they’re doing around the world with critically endangered animals (critical as in there are literally two in existence critical). Something about this monkey man. I once went over to my coworkers apartment and her mom collected Monchichi in the 80’s and gave the entire collection to her, so her place was filled with cute little monkeys in every corner. I want every available Monchichi now and in my place.

fascinating animals, remarkably intelligent like all primates, I was tempted to say orangutans but gibbons cohabitate with them and it’s a very cool relationship. A friend “adopted” one for me as a birthday gift, this is Courtney, and I love her
