the yellow post-it…. chic…. classic…. timeless…. the ease of whipping one off the pile and placing it somewhere else…. i’ve been going through packs like crazy since starting my new job. a new illustrator shortcut? post-it. got assigned 14 new designs to send to mockup and i want to make a list of them? post-it. i need a reminder to not smash my head through the monitor? post-it. i don’t care how tiny i have to write i can fit it on a post-it. and yellow is the best color
using them to keep track of literally everything! reminders, flashcards for class, goals/affirmations, lists, etc i put them all over my wall as visual reminders and it might look a little bit crazy but honestly I like the pop of color haha
they loss, just a redirect. find volunteer work even if it is 1 hour a week. compartmentalize the online job searching and force activities that bring pleasure, ideally irl. Freedom isn’t exactly free but time is all we have so in a way congrats on the new wealth. Hope you find formidable fit at your next place of employ!
