spring is dragging its heels here but i keep going down to the beach and there's something about the silence there right now that hits different. it's quiet, not as empty as i thought it'd be but i get to feel alone enough, the water is crystal clear and just watching the waves roll in is meditative. i went yesterday and thought a lot about i'd like to do so that i can always find time and energy to head to the sea. no clear solutions but a lot of clarity.

go out at night in the sand in the dark (if it’s safe) and just take in the stars and that loud silence of nothing but the ocean
optionally be mildly scared of how dark and still everything is and what might be crawling around your feet
