Here’s the thing. This movie is perfect. it’s obsession in a time capsule. I’m on a lil cocaine talking to my partner about how much we both love it and i was like “dude I feel like bob fosse is rolling in his grave about the ariana grande video” and he said, “I actually feel like he is very at peace in his grave” and honestly after seeing his directorial collection, he’s right. That man had restless leg syndrome to its fatal conclusion. Very cool and very sweet though. Everything old is new again!

dir. Bob Fosse
This musical auto-biopic is one of the most beautiful, yet depressing movies I’ve ever seen. Fosse’s self-awareness put on display here is a bold act of honesty that few would broadcast to the world. He wrestles with his flaws, his dreams, and most pointedly his mortality. The climactic show-stopping musical number wrapped in a Broadway fever dream is utterly existential and haunting. The final images of this film will live with me until my own curtain call…and all that jazz.

Without a doubt, one if not the best American movie musicals of all time. Directed by Bob Fosse, I once heard someone call it “The American Version of 8 1/2” which makes so much sense.
Roy Schneider plays an avatar-esque version of Bob Fosse - the film being a mirror into Fosse’s life as a choreographer. Of course, the choreography in this film is on point and so is the music (its not overly showtime-y which I love)
The final number in this movie is one of my favorite movie endings of all time. Highly highly recommend it.

I’m sorry, I lived in LA for seven years. I’m still into manifesting. My favorite manifestation technique is saying no to things that seem good but aren’t perfect because it shows the universe you know your worth and they reward you big time, you gotta make specific checklists for this to work really well.
I went to graphic design school last year to try and switch careers from being a social media producer and I finished and I want a design job. Someone reached out to me with an opportunity for a hella lucrative social media job and it all sounded very cool…but I hated working in social media! I promised myself I’d never go back! and so I sent an e-mail saying I am only interested in pushing a creative path right now and I’m so glad I did! I was so stressed about it before I sent it and then I just said no and moved on! Instant mood boost, your body literally knows what’s up. No clue what will happen next but I’m in it for the love of the game baby.
Firm Decisions, I got a salpingectomy today (removal of the fallopian tubes) because birth control has wreaked havoc on my body and I hate being on it and I absolutely don’t want kids. Of course all month while I was waiting for it, I couldn’t stop thinking about what if. And curiosity and like was I making the wrong decision. But I stayed firm and did it! And then I came out of anesthesia and they told me I have endometriosis! So! I would have had major fertility issues anyway. Again, your body literally knows what’s up!!!!

I loved theater camp so much I came home and made my boyfriend watch it the next day. These are a few I’ve watched over the last few months that delighted me!! Not necessarily similar but I rode off the high for a while.
