This man has made me want to learn how to play banjo more than anything in the world.
I found a bunch of his live performances on youtube. It seems he’s more of a period musician, playing songs from the minstrel era of banjo music, and often he explains the history behind the songs. Truly, the amount of talent is insane and every song hits u right in the heart. (Recommending music is such an interesting thing, words are hard to describe it)
Highly recommend listening to the songs he played at The Ark! “No More the Moon Shines on Lorena” makes me cry everytime I hear it.
