i haven't played since i was 12 but just thinking about it brings all the joy back. I always chose to start with Bulbasaur. I remember driving home after soccer games, me and my pal Junior sitting in the back seats, playing pokemon and eating burger king.

🎮this game is sooo sentimental for me... i cant explain how important it was to little me... the adventure is great, i am obsessed w the pokémon in this gen, i love the colors and the settings, and the battles are fun, also eggs and "baby" forms (pichu etc) and unown introduced!! the corresponding movie (pokemon 3: the movie) is still amazing in my eyes, i love that cursed crystal dream/wish/imagination palace entei creates ❤︎₊ ⊹
