One of my favourite designers as of recent, Karston Kroening, is dropping a new collection this year titled 'Seraphim'. A couple of the pieces are already online on his store but some of my favourite pieces have yet to be released. I really like how he takes influence from everywhere in his life, for example, his 'RAZIEL 001 CREWNECK' takes inspiration from Neon Genesis Evangelion, where as his currently unreleased parka he showcased in his most recent pickups video on his youtube channel takes inspiration from old duck hunting jackets his father used to wear. All of his work from this upcoming collection seems to have really unique patterning which Karston describes as 'Mecha Angelic Patterning'. He also dropped an amazing collection with Sam Liepke inspired by Karston's rural upbringing, mixed with a more sleek and modern take on fashion. His work is really intriguing to me and I hope to be able to own something from him soon.

It’s always exciting to see a big figure in menswear decide to work with a ‘smaller’ brand than a huge fashion house. Aaron Levine is helping to make accessible + good clothing available for guys. In a world where the entryway to menswear is locked up and protected by Our Legacy Camión boots and NN.07 jackets, it’s nice to see someone care about creating something that’s within reach for everyone. 👘for a while, when I wanted something expensive, I would think to myself, "oh, let me just look for a cheaper version of it." I end up settling for something that isn't good in any of the ways that made me want the expensive version.
Throw that out. You can get fantastic pieces for cheap, you can thrift a wardrobe you love, but if you're trying to find a cheap copy of something expensive, it's not going to work.
