i know jk rowling suxxxxx and i was never a harry potter kid but the cormoran strike murder mystery series she writes under the name robert galbraith is the dumbest funnest most satisfying type of trash read for me and im re-reading them because im in a sad place mentally and i am comforted by the fantasy of likeable people solving crimes and getting justice.

okay so I haven't seen any fanfic recs on here so ig I'll be the first but even if you don't read fanfic in general or you haven't watched teen wolf, I would read this fic on ao3. truly one of the best fics i've read on the site, the world building, the angst, the magical realism, its all just so good, i've reread it about 100 times by now, and I haven't even watched teen wolf

Saying hi to your neighbors

I said hi to my very intimidating, very cool punk girl, across-the-hall neighbor today and she said either “Eh wassup?” or “Ehh shut up.” Completely indiscernible. Will this keep me up tonight? Yes. But at least i tried.

sitting on the floor of barnes&noble

I see the manga loving teens doing this constantly, and today i picked up a few poetry collections i knew i didn’t have the money to pay for so you know what i did? Sat on the floor and read for like an hour and a half. Felt great and was proud of myself for not spending the money even though i realized after i could have probably just shoplifted them.
