Realizing how much $50 was to ur parents

When I was 14 my dad and uncle took me to a Dave Mathews concert. My uncle bought me a hat that was $50 (too much for a hat Dave, cmon) and just now I’m realizing how much that was, especially then, to him, on top of what he must have paid for my ticket I heard before that the true use of money is for keeping promises (hence promissory note) but I think it’s true use in this post capitalist hellscape is to put smiles on ur family and friends faces

I can't drink a lot of caffeine because I have grave's disease, but I love the ritual of a morning decaf coffee. The taste and the placebo of it all. It tastes slightly different than real coffee but I don't mind. I barely notice it. Because that shit still motivates me Teas are a bit easier of course but I love a good black tea and the Twinning decaf earl gray is somehow more noticeable in taste... so I'm looking for the perfect placebo black tea.
