Whenever I’ve needed to just cry it out I listen to True Love Waits by Radiohead on repeat.
Rain in Numbers by Beach House is also similar in how slow, sad, and beautiful it sounds.

moody, haunting, somber, ethereal. good for zoning out into sadness, like a soundtrack that doesn’t enunciate your feelings, only supports them.

yeah this is the shit i want to contain how this app makes me feel and stare at the container or shake it up and watch the snow fall upon the (literal and) metaphorical frozen landscape of joy

Dunno how Tyler cracked the code but somehow I’m looking at a feed of gratitude lists instead of doom scrolling passive agressive buckshot that wants me to kill myself. This is the best thing on the internet since tumblr.

you recognized my Fields of Land sweater at Space Prom, it was so wild to me that i’d meet anyone outside of NYC who knew of this tiny brand that in the moment I think I just said “yooo it is!! that’s so crazy!!” or something and dapped you up. we chatted for a bit to see if we had any mutual friends from the city but I don’t think we did. eventually you got back to your friends but later in the night you walked past again and I think we both just gave a nod and said “yo.” never got your name or gave you mine, who were you fashionable stranger??

i swear it was one of the first things i looked up when i moved to the city.
been wanting the sweet nostalgia filled taste of cotton candy dippin’ dots for what feels like decades.
took me a year into living here to finally make my dreams come true.
