I mean, I do recommend crows, but this is more of an ask (I just wanted to add a picture to the post lol) There are several crows that hang out at my clinic and I want to give them treats. What can I give them so they know I’m friend? 🥺

I have befriended many crows!!!! I like to give them a lil snack treat, I've found that they like granola a lot! I tend to avoid anything thats highly processed for personal reasons, but crows will kind of eat anything. They're super intelligent and will remember your face and your vibe! They'll come back to your meeting place and wait for you, after they get to know you they'll do a little happy dance when you show up! They like having back and forth cawwing conversations. Once they build a connection w you, they'll want to show it off to their friends, who will watch from a distance until you build a connection with them. After a little while they'll bring you treasures from their adventures, and they'll watch out for you from above 😋

Feeding wild animals can mess them up. You should give them your respect and admiration. Or shiny stuff is probably ok?

whenever i walk past a crow

give em a nod and greet them with a "Corvid" like thats their name and we're old pals, occasionally apologise for not having a snack for them and dig around in my pocket for any possible shinnies to gift em will also sit at my window with my cat trash talking shit to the crows nest on the tree outside cause birds are cool but i gotta have my babes back😗

scheduled peanuts

in high school i befriended a local murder (🐦‍⬛) by regularly going to the same spot at around the same time and tossing peanuts for them to eat. eventually, they’d be waiting for me to show up before i even got there. i’d keep a big bag of dollar store peanuts in my bag and eat my lunch while i fed them theirs. im theorizing that any formula of [food - must be good for crows] x [same spot + time] = crow friends they are pretty smart and recognize faces so maybe they’ll still show up at irregular times if even one of them sees you and attracts more?
