absolutely the shit and you should be doing it.
companies like apple make it difficult on purpose. you want to back up all your photos, but you only get so much icloud storage and then you have to pay out the ass for more. FUCK that. don't listen to them. anytime a company is making it really hard for you to do something, that should clue you in that it is something you need to do. buy a computer that isn't made by apple. buy an external hard drive that isn't made by apple. save your fucking photos to your computer and your external hard drive. delete them off icloud because fuck apple, and what do you need multiple years of digital dead weight hanging onto your daily use device for? you don't. don't let them bait you with nostalgia. put that shit in two different places and then delete it. free up your icloud storage for something actually useful, like if your phone breaks (because we all know it will).
