sometimes u need a lil sweet trip down memory lane on an extra melancholic, grumpy afternoon - to be reminded of the sweet & silly exchanges between u & ur loved ones - to be reminded of why they adore u !
These can be little jokes, baby animals, screenshots of nice things people have said to you, or just people you love. I call mine my "affirmation folder" and find it a wonderful place to spend time if I'm ever having a bleak one.
I always screenshot things to remember them or reference later but then I never look at the folder lmao. And same with saving things on Insta / Pinterest. So taking time to actually go back and look through them feels very grounding lol 💘
stumbled across the obituary section for wikieditors - thinking about their admiration for one another across the internet having (possibly) never met, the devotion for research/editing their interests, the grandparents enjoying their years perusing on the net and traces of their memory preserved online
