sed_paz on rush-hrs (which have been extending, I think, it's the season to take refuge inside) you definitely want to make a reservation — the sister cafe in the basement is a lot easier to get into as a walk-in. It's not quite as chic, kind of reminds me of a train station during a war or just a bombing shelter, but the food and service is identical, and you can sit with strangers at the larger tables if your party is small, which is a nice touch ..

ralph’s coffee
this coffee shop, located at 888 Madison Ave, is so cute and also tasty.
you can come for the coffee and delicious little pastries but above all i think Ralph’s excels at aesthetics. the design of the cafe is incredible stylized and although the indoor seating is limited they also have options outside.
i don’t think this place is necessarily a must-visit but if you find yourself nearby i’d personally recommend stopping by :)

Okay this is an absolute nit but
Type selection / touch area on mobile for text is a bit challenging and I usually have to delete type letter by letter or double click words one by one if I’m editing text. I can’t drag and highlight.
Re-recs directly following the OG rec in feed can sometimes be repetitive.
