The Little Caesar’s “pizza pizza“ guy. The Pillsbury Dough Boy. Grimace. There isn’t a Weird Little Guy from pre-9/11 that hasn’t become a resounding cultural and consumer icon.
The superior way to travel distances. Cafe car. Comfortable seats and space. Chargers. Big windows. You can meet people and watch the world go by. Exceedingly convenient. I have gone across the country on Amtrak. I take it round trip once a week to work. I love it dearly. I think people that complain it’s consistently inconvenient or slow are not living live for the love of the game and do not subject themselves to a healthy amount of adventure.
From a personal experience: half priced dinner, contemplative wandering through the showroom, wondering if no one else in Ikea on a Friday night is real. Very healing.
