if you’re running a minimum of 25 minutes late to class (i am running 45 today), why bother showing up to class when you can avoid the embarrassment altogether. this is vital during the beginning of the semester, because really, the syllabus walkthrough could have been an email. don’t make this a habit though. i just have really bad anxiety.

just be fucking late. because then at least you can be late and relaxed. relaxed and certain that you’re prepared and present for whatever it is you’re showing up embarrassingly late to. if you want to be on time so bad then get out of bed on time. 🙄🙄 -fae out ~/~ number of times i’ve gotten out of bed at my first alarm my whole life :3

Trying to ease my anxiety about getting to places as of late. People won’t hate you for being late one time when you are on time most of the time 😁

I just can’t help it, for some reason it makes me really anxious if I’m not ready an hour prior to the time I’m suppose to leave, for me that hour feels like I only have 10-15 minutes and I’m already running behind schedule. It’s great most of the time but a bit awkward.

instrumental bar jazz. make sure your headphones are set on noise canceling. find somewhere quiet (or loud, whatever.) i can't stand reading and listening to people talk, this mitigates such displeasures.

It's late at night. You are feeling pretty tired, but you throw on another episode of whatever you were watching. You think, "I should probably go get into bed in a second." Instead, you stretch out on the couch. You tell yourself, "I'll just finish this episode then I'll get up." As you have this thought, you pull a blanket over you. You laugh at yourself quietly; you know that thought was simply untrue. You feel your eyes start to close. Suddenly, you wake up at 3:30AM blasted in the TV glow. A spark of excitement ignites inside of you. You get up and make the pilgrimage to your room. You crawl under your sheets and realize this is the most comfortable you've ever been. You quickly fall back asleep.
