remember that most people here, and on the rest of the internet, know just as little as you.
my time on instagram has shown me that likes and followers do not dictate good taste. my time on reddit has shown me that upvotes do not dictate good taste.
internet recommendations might be a good starting point, but they are kind of a crutch. Don't rely too much on recommendations, don't treat them as gospel, don't use them to replace your own taste.
develop good taste for yourself. it makes life tastier.

In an age where everyone says “it was fine, just not for me”, our culture has suffered from a lack of gatekeeping and actual criticism. Its how we build taste! Say something sucks or is unbelievably good and give great reasons why! You’ll always get more respect

Leave reviews on stuff so other people know what’s up. like and subscribe when a creator adds value to your life . stay out of the comments , it’s probably totally unnecessary at best and maybe being a troll at worst.

Prolific songwriter who blended indie rock, blues, country, Americana and other sub genres of rock to create his unique sound.
There’s no wrong place to start with his discography but some of my favorite tracks are: O! Grace (amazing sax solo), The Dark Don’t Hide It (gritty), all of “Didn’t It Rain” (last three tracks are a sad beautiful journey), Lioness (for the romantics), Alone With The Owl (you can really get a sense of how good his voice was here).
