It’s nice not to have to decide what music is going to set the tone for your day. I just throw on NPR and let news wash over me, since I’m typically too tired to really pay attention but awake enough that I get what’s going on. And now I regularly say “well, I heard on NPR that [insert either local news or random science fact]”

Enjoy the playful, cheeky, and classic world of radio dramas. 🍂
I put a play on the other day and at first I was a bit bored of the cadence, the acting, the lack of whatever my body craved. But I made myself sit with it for a little longer into I sort of remembered what this format feels like. Not sure if that makes sense or is all too obvious but it’s nice to cool off the nervous system with something that isn’t just blasting my dopamine receptor.
I think this is a nice pairing to the cool fall breeze that’s settling in.

3) Combine these two things to create the perfect travel companion
4) Get on a train (or a plane or an automobile)
5) Boot it on up and watch the time disappear
6) Get too invested in the game and decide to stay on the train past your stop
8) Move somewhere farther away from work so you have more time to play Pokémon on the train
9) Announce your Pokémon achievements to your fellow passengers
10) Become known as the “Pokémon Person Of The L Train”
