this book pulled me out of a book slump!! the MC is weird, layered, and relatable. it was somehow a funny read while also covering dark/sad/serious topics and exploring so many emotions and relationship dynamics. cannot recommend enough.
Picked up this book written by a New Zealand author and loving it. Super witty and dry humor and queer characters, recommended for fans of Patrick Dewitt, Elif Batuman, and Fleabag
I'm recommending this one specifically because it helped me really get back into reading after years of neglecting my literacy. Super fun vampire novel about growing up, womanhood, family, art, and being true to yourself despite the consequences.
