This one was taken closing night after we finished the Ragnar Kjartansson exhibition. I had helped keep a twelve-week performance art piece called “Woman In E” alive, bringing to life a work I’d seen in Detroit one year prior. Supporting this project was how I met my best friend in DC, and was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career! When the show closed, I took to the stage and had my photo taken.

not even underlining passages or w/e. Last week I took a 1969 pulpy Sartre paperback to a public lecture and I used that shit like a notebook. It’s free paper. Also very beautiful to lend out books to friends and see what they write in them. kill the bookshagger in your head
